For the last 4 years, S-Type Security have carried out regular security patrols in our Parish, funded by the Parish Council. The area they cover includes the whole of Rettendon and Battlesbridge as well as Hayes Country Park. Sometimes in marked vehicles and sometimes in unmarked vehicles. Should anyone see or hear anything suspicious they can be contacted direct by any resident at:-

S-Type are a local security firm based at Unit 93, Waterhouse Business Centre, 2 Cromar Way, Chelmsford CM1 2QE which is just 15 mins away from Rettendon. All of their operatives are Licensed.

S-Type travel around our Parish at all hours of the day and night and they work closely with the police, reporting suspect vehicles and the like. There are no established patterns or timings to their patrols for obvious reasons. They also patrol several neighbouring Parishes and so are never very far away.

The Parish Council is very much aware that crime is on the increase while Police resources remain stretched. For this reason, the Council considers it important for residents to continue to benefit from this added layer of protection.

URGENT NOTICE

The trustees have closed the car park on the Bell Fields due to fly-tipping.

Once the material has been removed and the area is safe, it will be re-opened.

Thank you for your understanding.
